The agent of Sampdoria youngster Guido Marilungo has welcomed interest from Fiorentina.

But agent Silvio Pagliari expects his client to remain in Genoa this season.

"I live very close to the Della Valle family," Pagliari said. "So if they want to meet me we don't have to walk too far.

"Joking aside, knowledge of Fiorentina's interest makes us happy even if Sampdoria have as of yet received no formal offers, otherwise I would have been called.

"I believe that it would be difficult for him to leave Sampdoria. The club is thinking about a contract renewal, which makes it difficult for Corvino to sign him."
