Andrey Arshavin's agent states the Russia international playmaker is not looking to leave Arsenal. There had been reports that the former Zenit St Petersburg ace was looking for improved terms in a bid to cover an increase in UK taxes.

But his agent Dennis Lachter told the Daily Star Sunday: "No he isn't looking for a pay rise at the moment, he is happy.

"I cannot comment on that. It is made up by somebody, I think."
