Amadou Diawara wants to leave Bologna, says his agent.
The midfielder has been linked with Valencia.
“The deal with Valencia went on for three months," Daniele Piraino told Zerocinquantuno.
“Their director general [Jesús García] Pitarch came to Milan three times and was never able to meet with the CEO [Claudio] Fenucci.
“The deal was finally cracked when Pitarch came to Bologna, and even then he found the club unwilling to discuss.
“To date, Bologna have rejected the most concrete offer - more than €10m.
“As for the alleged bonus Diawara would receive, no proposed adjustment has come close to the salary of a player who the club values at €20m.
“Bologna say that Diawara is worth €20m, but then they're paying him €3,000 per month like some regional player. I hope this situation doesn't continue until August.
“The directors know what Diawara wants: to move on."
