Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci could still get a move away before the market shuts.
Tasci is being frozen out by Stuttgart coach Christian Gross at the start of this season and is a target for Tottenham.
The Germany international's agent, Uli Ferber, said: "The interest from other clubs in Europe is still there."
Arsenal were also keen on Tasci ahead of signing Sevilla defender Sebastien Squillaci on Monday.
