Agent admits Sevilla talks for Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez

The agent of Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez admits he's held talks with Sevilla.

The Colombia international's future at Spurs is in doubt and agent Néstor Fernando has confirmed he's sounding out interested clubs this summer.

With Spurs closing on a deal for Atalanta defender Cristian Romero, Sanchez is expected to be squeezed out.

Fernandez admits he's been speaking to interested clubs to test the ground. The young stopper has just completed a Copa America campaign with Colombia in Brazil.

Fernandez, via Mundo Deportivo, told Radio Caracol: "They are just rumours, yes I have spoken with the people of Sevilla, but at the moment they have a complete squad.

"If there is any transfer from them, those rumours could be true, but there is nothing concretely, only conversations."

Sanchez, who has 35 international caps, played 32 games last season for Tottenham, scoring twice. The 25 year-old stopper has a contract with Spurs to 2025. Sanchez joined Tottenham four years ago from Ajax for a fee of €43.

Now under the orders of new manager Nuno this preseason, Sanchez is working under the third coach of his Tottenham career.
