The agent of Juventus defender Daniele Rugani admits Arsenal have been pushing to sign him.

However, after the youngster penned new terms earlier this season, any move to London is now unlikely.

Davide Torchia told TMW: "They (Arsenal) were among the first interested clubs, let's say that that interest has been time-stamped!

"There were also other clubs, but it's useless to talk about it now.

"There are requests but there is no need to advertise..."
