The agent of Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic has revealed he could've been playing in Italy three years ago.

Pasalic is currently starring on-loan for AC Milan this season.

Marko Naletilic told Gazzetta dello Sport: "The first Italian team to want him, three years ago, was Catania.

"Mario said no, he was afraid of ending up in the primavera. He was also tried by Lazio but even then he was nervous about it.

"Now he's mentally strong and at AC Milan he's fine."
