Agbonlahor warns Aston Villa they're not yet safe

Gabby Agbonlahor has warned Aston Villa teammates they're not yet safe.

Agbonlahor said Paul Lambert's men still need to ensure their own safety.

"We're on 31 points, not 40, so the fear is definitely still there," he said.

"We have to keep on getting the results as early as possible and not leave it late. We want to pull away a bit more and try to get to that 40-point mark as quickly as we can.

"The gaffer gives us the confidence - his instructions are to go out and play freely. He doesn't want us not to go forward and he gives us an attacking incentive. That came off against Norwich.

"Fingers crossed we can continue to do it."
