Hull City boss Phil Brown says victory over Wigan has not lifted the pressure off his shoulders.

The Tigers remain in the bottom three and Brown said: "This doesn't take the pressure off because there's a long way to go.

"We're under the spotlight and I understand that.

"But I'm very happy today, not just with the performance but the week's work which made us hard to play against again.

"We earned the right to score goals and I'm pleased for Jan (Vennegoor of Hesselink) and Geo (Geovanni)."
