After Thiago, Jota Liverpool turn to Schalke defender Ozan Kabak

Schalke defender Ozan Kabak remains on the radar of Liverpool.

After swooping for Thiago Alcantara (Bayern Munich) and Diogo Jota (Wolves) in the last 48 hours, Liverpool could yet make another signing in the form of Kabak in the coming days.

Transfermarkt.de says Kabak is Liverpool's top defensive target for the remainder of this transfer window.

The Reds are turning to Kabak after finding Sevilla stubborn negotiators over Diego Carlos. Kabak's S04 contract carries a €45m buyout clause.

The 20 year-old played in last night's 8-0 thrashing by Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga kickoff, but the performance hasn't put off Liverpool football chief Michael Edwards and his scouts.

Kabak's deal runs to 2024.
