Leicester City trials for Sam van Huffel has been confirmed.

The Leicester Mercury says Van Huffel has been on trial with Leicester City this week.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who plays for Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag, started training with City on Monday.

The youngster is said to have previously been on trial with fellow Premier League side Manchester United with another lined up at Chelsea.

Van Huffel has played 11 games for ADO Den Haag's under-21s this season, during which he has provided three assists.
