AFCON: Bailly allows Liverpool ace Salah to score winning penalty for Egypt over Ivory Coast

Egypt have advanced to the African Cup of Nations quarter-finals after a penalty shootout win over Ivory Coast.

The match ended goalless after 120 minutes of play.

The Pharaohs went ahead in the shootout when Manchester United defender Eric Bailly saw his penalty saved by Gabaski.

Liverpool attacker and Egypt skipper Mohamed Salah scored the wining penalty to send the seven-time champions through.

Carlos Quieroz's side will face Morocco in the next stage.
