AFC Wimbledon decide against signing ex-Chelsea, Man City keeper Caballero

AFC Wimbledon have decided against signing former Chelsea and Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

The veteran shot stopper was training with the club for the past month with a view to signing permanently.

However, he will have to continue his search for a new team elsewhere, per London News Online.

"He's been excellent," said Wimbledon coach Mark Robinson.

"The keepers have all loved having him around, and they have all picked up something from him.

"His attitude is absolutely unbelievable. He's even started getting involved in the meetings more because, for the sessions we put on, I wanted him to see why we're doing it.

"He's incredibly humble, which the best tend to be. He's loving it, and we're loving having him in."
