Tottenham were eyeing new Napoli star Kim Min-jae before his departure from Fenerbahce this summer, it has been revealed.
In a documentary about Korean footballers, advisor to Kim Min-jae, Ho Lee, said that Tottenham were interested in signing the centre-back before he moved to the Serie A. However, the 25-year-old decided to opt for 'continuity' over a big money move to the Premier League.
Lee said: "Inter, Juventus, Tottenham, Rennes and Roma have tried to sign Kim, and many clubs have held meetings on video.
"But we wanted Kim to be able to play in a good team with a certain continuity, and that team was Napoli."
