Leicester City are eyeing Benfica fullback Andre Almeida for the January market.

The Foxes are lining up Almeida for the winter transfer window, with the Premier League club having scouted the fullback in Benfica's victory over Tondela.

O Jogo says Leicester are so serious about Almeida that they've asked Adrien Silva for his opinion.

Silva knows Almeida, having crossed swords plenty of times when with Sporting CP. Silva talked up Almeida, not only as a player, but as a Portugal teammate.

Since then, Leicester have made contact with Benfica to name their price for the defender.
