Adelaide Utd keen to send players to J-League

Adelaide United are keen to send their best players on-loan to Japan during the Australian offseason. Defender Sasa Ognenovski is on top of Urawa Reds' wishlist. Skipper Travis Dodd has been sounded out by Kashima Antlers, while goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic has attracted interest from Kyoto Sanga and Sanfrecce Hiroshima with shotstoppers Clint Bolton, from Sydney FC, and Newcastle Jets' Ante Covic.

"We've already looked into that (loaning players to J-League clubs)," Vidmar told The Advertiser. "Certainly, it will be a great option if it's possible. We don't know how the dynamics will work. (Football director) Michael Petrillo has had a look at it."
