Former Arsenal and Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is set to extend his playing career in Paraguay.

A free agent after being released by Kayserispor in Turkey, the 35 year-old is now set to taste football in South America.

TyC Sports says the Togolese striker is about to sign with the Paraguay's Club Olimpia, the defending champion, on a one-year contract.

There, he would find a certain Roque Santa Cruz (38 years old), with whom he played with at Manchester City.

They would form a offensive duo that first came together at City in 2010.
