Emmanuel Adebayor has spoken of working with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.

Adebayor now plays in Turkey with Istanbul Basaksehir.

He said of Mourinho: "He taught me a lot, he would joke with us in the dressing room and then later was different with the press.

"I don't know what it was and neither am I interested to know but he was a different person, it was incredible.

"He taught me to be a real professional, to have a winning mentality and work extra hours."
