Emmanuel Adebayor has reassured Manchester City supporters that the club's run of six straight league draws is a minor setback in their ambitions for a top four finish. A brilliant start to the campaign saw City prove wrong those that predicted they would struggle to gel as a unit following a raft of new signings.
However, having not won in the league since late September, talk of playing in Europe's premier club competition now seems optimistic.
"When I was at Arsenal, we always had a spell where we'd draw four or five in a row," he said.
"Big clubs always have difficult moments in a season. These are the type of things that can happen and the secret is dealing with it well.
"How we deal with the hard times will be the test of whether we finish in the top four."
