Adana Demirspor midfielder Jakub Kosecki has revealed how former teammate Anderson opened up on his problems at Manchester United.

Anderson retired last year while with Adana Demirspor.

Kosecki told weszlo.com of Anderson: "Golden Boy, Manchester paid over 30 million for him. Back then - huge.

"He told me that he had his problems in Manchester. He told me how he almost died in a car crash. A lot of different things happened in his life which made him change as a footballer and as a person.

"He had a lot of stories to tell, but I don't want to repeat them, it's his own private business. He went through a lot. Good guy, well-educated. Typical Brazilian attitude towards life - samba, laughs, always positive."
