Adams fails to name Spaniard in Granada XI on losing debut

Arsenal legend Tony Adams set a new LaLiga record as his Granada lost on debut to Celta Vigo Sunday.

His Granada side went down 3-0 to Celta Vigo.

Goals from Jozabed, Marcelo Diaz and Claudio Beauvue sealed all three points for Celta, who were effectively playing a reserve side having made 10 changes, in Andalusia as Adams made a losing debut in the Granada dugout.

Adams had made history before a ball was kicked - setting a La Liga record as he named 11 different players with 11 different nationalities in his starting lineup.

The XI didn't include a single Spaniard, and Granada were helpless to prevent their 20th defeat of the season.
