Accrington Stanley have extended the loan of midfielder Dan Barlaser from Newcastle United until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old came to the Wham Stadium at the end of August and has made 23 appearances, scoring two goals.

“Dan is now confirmed until the end of the season which is a boost for us," said boss John Coleman.

“We chased Dan last season but Newcastle felt he might not get a lot of game time with us and they were probably right as we were starting to fly and had a settled side."
