AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf is convinced former coach Carlo Ancelotti can bring success to Chelsea.

Seedorf, who has been linked with a move to the Blues, said: "If Mourinho can win titles for Chelsea, Ancelotti can repeat that success and do so for many seasons.

"He is a big and serious professional who can win the Premier League for Chelsea and carry on winning trophies.

"We have heard the rumours for a long time about Carlo, but he is such a professional he never let it affect him in the dressing room. He was just focused on Milan.

"He is strict and likes players to train hard, give everything for the club and be focused, but he talks to them and has a good relationship with them."

The veteran added: "Italian football is more defensive than the Premier League but for a good coach change will not be a problem and Carlo is one of the best."
