AC Milan's two goal Jeremy Menez hit out at critics after their 3-1 win over Cagliari.

Menez cupped his ear in celebrating both goals.

"My gesture was not for the fans, but for the media. They talk about me without knowing anything and I don't like that," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"We all help each other and if we continue like this then we can do great things. There are 10 rounds to go, if we win two or three in a row then everything will change.

"I always give my all, but there are matches in which I don't score and still work hard for the team."
