AC Milan are waiting to kickoff negotiations for Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

With the Rossonero reinstated in the Europa League and preparing to sell Nikola Kalinic, they're in the market for a new centre-forward.

Premium Sport says Morata is their No1 target, with the Spain international having held talks with Milan officials in Italy at the end of last season.

Milan are in contact with Chelsea about a deal, but for now everything is at stalemate while the Blues seek to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus.

Once agreement for the Argentina international is settled, Chelsea will enter talks about selling Morata.
