AC Milan veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to settle in the city next season.

Ibrahimovic, currently tied to the end of this campaign, is in line to win a new extension after an outstanding first month back in Serie A.

Gazzetta dello Sport says plans are already underway for Ibrahimovic to settle down long-term.

For now, the Swede is living on his own in a city hotel, but next summer his wife and children are due to join him, who today live in Stockholm.

Milan director Paolo Maldini said last week: "With Ibra his contract is six months with a clause inserted of automatic renewal in case we make it into the Champions League.

“If we don't, it's only natural that we will all sit at the table with him.

“With Ibra there is always a personal discussion in which there must always be an open dialogue.

“There always has been, otherwise he wouldn't have arrived."
