AC Milan take Niang off the market - for now

AC Milan are taking M'Baye Niang off the market.

The French striker had attracted an approach from West Ham United last month and was set to be offloaded by Milan.

But with Alessandro Matri in talks to move to Genoa, Milan have decided to keep hold of Niang - for now.

The striker has joined Pippo Inzaghi's first team squad for preseason and it will be left to the new coach to decide whether to keep him for the season.
