AC Milan striker Ibrahimovic targets Spurs clash: It'll be open game

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is happy with his progress as he recovers from knee surgery.

The Swede is aiming to play again in January.

“I'm working, and I hope I'll get something back," he told Sky Italia.

“This is my mentality, this is a different season. I could not be there in the first part, hopefully, I'll be back for the second. The team has improved since I arrived. Napoli are doing better than us, but the second part of the season is the most important."

The 41 year-old has hopes of making their Champions League round of 16 tie with Tottenham.

“Why shouldn't we? We always do," said Ibrahimovic.

“Champions League is always difficult, it's an open game and I don't think there are favourites. It's crucial to feel well at that exact moment.

“(Paolo) Maldini and (Ricky) Massara? They are doing a great job, it's also thanks to them that Milan have been successful. We are growing, the club is in new hands, and we are all doing a great job."
