AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud says they'll be ready for Inter Milan in their Champions League semifinal.

Giroud feels the city will be on "fire" over the two legs.

He told L'Equipe: "It will be a very hot derby, Milan will be on fire. An incredible match, with a in any case. The city will experience something incredible and so will we.

"The only time I made it to the semi-finals, then I won against Chelsea, and even then we were outsiders. We weren't the favourites this time either, but we eliminated Napoli.

"I didn't expect to experience all this when I signed for Milan. I knew it would be an exciting challenge, but I didn't expect to win the Scudetto and reach the semifinals of the Champions League. I could never have dreamed so much."
