AC Milan striker Patrick Cutrone has apologised to coach Rino Gattuso for his strop during the stalemate with Bologna.

Cutrone admits his reaction was wrong to being substituted.

“It was all over in a flash. I know I was wrong, so I explained to the Coach that it was a misunderstanding," Cutrone told Calciomercato.com.

“I have already apologised to him and the whole squad. I was hurt and there was a misunderstanding with the bench over whether I was able to continue or not.

“I take the blame, but every player wants to be out there and my desire was to give a bigger contribution to the team."
