AC Milan striker Andre Silva delighted to prove matchwinner

AC Milan striker Andre Silva was delighted to score in victory over Chievo.

Andre Silva scored the decisive late goal in a 3-2 victory over Chievo on Sunday.

“I am happy for the goal and the win, while unfortunately my goal against Arsenal on Thursday didn't help us qualify," Andre Silva told Sky Sport Italia.

“I've spent a lot of time on the bench, but I am young, I have to work and try to score for the team. My thought has always been to stay here and do my work at Milan.

“Everything changed here, as it's the first time I have left Portugal. I don't think the cost of the transfer fee weighed on me, but I did need some time to adapt to a whole new country, league and team."
