Keisuke Honda admits he is intrigued by Major League Soccer.
The AC Milan attacking midfielder recently held a football clinic for 100 children in Carson, California and admitted to Fox Sports' Kyle McCarthy that the USA and Canada's top flight certainly is of interest to him.
Japan international Honda has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months, including a possible move to MLS, but is unsure if his successful playing career will extend to North America.
"I'm very interested in MLS, even as a player, but I don't know if I will play or not," former Nagoya Grampus, VVV-Venlo and CSKA Moscow star Honda said.
"I would say that MLS is a developing soccer league in the world. There are a lot of famous players coming to MLS."
29-year-old Honda, who has 50 soccer schools in his homeland, hinted that something exciting is on the horizon for him and the USA.
"Let's say that I have a lot of big dreams in the United States in the future," he added.
"We have a good team. We still can't say all of them. I want to surprise you in the future. Keep your eyes open."
