AC Milan signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic was disappointed to draw a blank on his 'second' debut against Sampdoria.
The match finished 0-0 as Rossonero fans welcomed the Swede's return to San Siro.
“I could feel a lot of adrenaline, emotion, and feelings I'd been carrying around with me for nine or 10 years," Ibra told Sky Sport Italia.
“The rapport with the fans remains wonderful and gives me so much motivation. I wanted to get on to the pitch, score a goal and then celebrate like a God in front of the Curva!"
It didn't go to plan, because Milan failed to take any of their chances in the dour draw.
“You can see that the team is lacking confidence and aggression in scoring goals, so we aren't as effective. We need to understand what to do in order to get the best out of this squad.
“I've been here for four days and I will try everything possible to get Milan going again. There is a lack of faith here."
Ibrahimovic is 38 years old and was introduced along with 20-year-old Rafael Leao.
“I was trying to explain to him the movements he needs to make, it all comes from experience. The fans are not happy, we have to suffer for the moment and the results are not positive, but we have to keep working and think positive."
