AC Milan are showing real interest in Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly.
The Ivory Coast international is currently preparing for the African Cup of Nations.
Bailly, who has suffered significant injury problems during his tenure at United, is not first choice at the club.
According to Sky Italia, Milan see Bailly as an ideal player to bring in the January transfer window to strengthen manager Stefanio Pioli's squad.
Whether United would be willing to let a senior defender leave, considering the stuttering start to interim boss Ralf Rangnick's reign, is another matter.
