AC Milan are hoping to secure goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma to a new deal this summer.
The Italy international has just over a year to run on his existing contract and Rossonero chiefs hope to settle terms in the coming days.
Donnarumma is on €6m-a-year and Milan wish to renew on the same terms, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
Management are convinced he wouldn't be able to command better terms elsewhere given the impact of coronavirus this year.
There is a suggestion the length of the new agreement won't be long-term and will also include a reasonable buyout clause.
