AC Milan president Scaroni: We need new CEO; we'll talk again with UEFA

AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni has offered an update on their Financial Fair Play battle with UEFA.

The previous owners were rejected for both a voluntary agreement and a settlement agreement, which eventually led to the Rossoneri being thrown out of the Europa League.

Milan took their case to the Court of Arbitration in Sport and had their ban overturned.

“There was a blackout period which will end next week," Scaroni explained in today's Press conference.

“If we could conclude this affair with a voluntary agreement that would be desirable. The procedure has started, but I can't give you any more details right now."

Scaroni has no intention of running the club permanently, with Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis and Roma CEO Mauro Baldissoni touted to come in.

“Some progress has been made, but we are not yet at the final decision. We'll get there within a few weeks.

“Until that moment, I will do everything I need to at Milan. At some point I will take a step back and there will be a person who will take care of Milan full-time."
