AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni says a deal for Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek is now close.
He was expected in Milan on Tuesday night, to undergo a medical for Wednesday, then sign a five-year contract worth €2m per season.
The deal is believed to be worth €35m plus €2-3m bonuses.
“It is not up in the air," said Scaroni.
“It is not up in the air, so we are happy with that," he repeated. "We're getting there."
