AC Milan are preparing a bid for Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo.
Montolivo has less than a year to run on his contract and been stripped of the Viola captaincy this week.
Milan will reportedly offer 5.5m, plus offer the Tuscan club a 50 per cent share in striker Alberto Paloschi at a cost of 2.5m.
Rossoneri coach Max Allegri is a big fan of midfield playmaker Montolivo.
