A move to Al Nasr has collapsed for the Argentine and he is back on the market.
Sportmediaset says the situation could work in Milan's favour, as they are looking for a forward during injury problems for Robinho and Giampaolo Pazzini.
Maxi Lopez is no stranger to the Rossoneri, as he spent six months there on loan from January to June 2012.
