AC Milan plan mega four-player raid on Barcelona

El Mundo Deportivo says along with confirmed targets Ronaldinho and Gianluca Zambrotta, Milan supremo Adriano Galliani also is chasing Barca skipper Carles Puyol and want-away midfielder Deco.

Italian super agent Enzo Bronzetti has warned Milan not to drag their feet over Puyol as he believes Barca could be convinced to cash in on the highly-rated centre-half. Galliani, now in charge of Milan signings following the departure of president Silvio Berlusconi, sees Puyol as Paolo Maldini's successor.

He recently said: "Carles is a flag of the club of Catalunya, he will not be easy to sign, but fits faithfully into the portrait of a 'Milan footballer'.

"He's a great player, one hundred percent professional and he defends to the death the colors of the club that pays him."

Galliani also wants to land Deco and like Puyol is ready to move quickly for the playmaker as he's aware of rival interest from Inter. Milan have already held talks with Deco's agents, Jorge Mendes and Sergio Alves.
