AC Milan have opened talks with Aston Villa about Douglas Luiz.

The Brazilian midfielder is a wanted man in Italy, with Roma manager Jose Mourinho also a big fan.

According to Goal, Serie A champions Milan have initiated negotiations with Villa as Luiz enters the final year of his contract.

Villa want at least £26m for Luiz, who could potentially leave for free next summer.

Milan are keen to reinforce their midfield this summer following the departure of Franck Kessie to Barcelona.
