AC Milan assistant coach Mauro Tassotti admits losing Alexandre Pato and Robinho will be a huge blow.

Pato is being sold to Corinthians this week, while Robinho is in negotiations to return to Santos.

"Pato and Robinho are essential, if they were to leave Milan surely we would lose a lot, but I think that the club will make an effort going to the market," said Tassotti.

"Pato has had a season full of injuries, we wish him the best should he leave or stay.

"Robinho, when he is fit is irreplaceable, even though he has not always been available this season."
