AC Milan midfielder Lucas Biglia insists he and Franck Kessie are fine.

The pair clashed on the bench during Sunday's defeat to Inter Milan.

“I made the first mistake because I had to understand the situation, his emotion after the substitute," Biglia told Milan TV.

“I wanted to make him understand that [his reaction] wasn't right towards the teammate who was replacing him.

“We cleared the air. I should've talked to him in the dressing room, but there's nothing between us. In fact, I have a beautiful relationship with him.

“We wanted to win and these things can happen at times of tension. I take full responsibility and I'll put my face out.

“I'm sorry to the fans, club, my teammates and the Coach. It was embarrassing, but let's look ahead.

“We've cleared the air and we've talked to each other. There are times when you can be wrong.

“I'm sorry to the Coach and staff who always put the group first."
