AC Milan midfielder Beckham sorry Giggs injured for Man Utd return

AC Milan midfielder David Beckham is disappointed former Manchester United teammate Ryan Giggs will not be fit for their Champions League clash.

Giggs missed the big game with a fractured arm.

Beckham told the Sunday Mirror: "This will be one of the biggest moments of my career. I've never had to do something like this before. But I don't think playing against my old club will be a problem.

"It's a big shame Ryan Giggs will be out of the match. It would've been great to play on the same field as Giggsy. Hopefully he'll make the second leg.

"There's been so much talk about me going back to Manchester. It's my first time in seven years. But the tie is not just about me playing against United. It's about AC Milan winning the tie and qualifying for the next round of the Champions League.

"I'm looking forward to it. It's two great clubs coming together in a big game. It's going to be a great game for both teams and both sets of fans."
