AC Milan are the latest European club to be linked with Tottenham target Mateo Kovacic.

Italian website Milan Live is reporting the Real Madrid midfielder has emerged on the Rossoneri boss Sinisa Mihajlovic's list of potential summer transfers this offseason.

Spurs had been heavily linked with the 21-year-old Croatian international, but were already facing stiff competition from Sevilla for Kovacic's signature.

Kovacic has started in just seven La Liga matches for Madrid this campaign and is reportedly eager to complete a move elsewhere is search of more regular first team football.
