Former AC Milan fullback Gianluca Zambrotta admits he's a fan of Theo Hernandez.

The young left-back, in his first season with the Rossonero, has been outstanding under coach Stefano Pioli.

"(Milan director) Paolo Maldini has made a great shot, he has taken a player from Real Madrid and you will not take a player from Real if he is poor," said Zambrotta.

"Milan has changed gears, he is young and of great personality and technique.

"He can make a difference and has made it so far, the club must focus on him and Paolo has made a big purchase."
