AC Milan hero Andriy Shevchenko feels new signing Krzysztof Piatek has much to prove.

The arrival from Genoa asked for - and was rejected - the No9 shirt at Milan.

Shevchenko said, "(Gonzalo) Higuain and Piatek are two players who like to finish moves off in the box," added Sheva.

“Higuain helps a lot more in the build-up, but both can contribute when they near the opposing goal.

“Higuain has more physical strength, but Piatek is quicker. Higuain has written great pages in the history of football, while Piatek is a prospect who has already begun to show his great ability."
