Italian legend Alessandro Nesta admits he's a fan of AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli.

Nesta is pleased to see the Italy international follow the same path his he did in his career.

Asked about his No13, Nesta told Radio Radio: "I am happy that so many guys choose this number for me, it means that I have done something important, I am proud of this, for the balance I had in good times and bad times.

"Romagnoli: I met him, he is a very good guy, he is Lazio and he plays in Milan, he is very good, he needs a bit of international experience and then he will grow up."

On Lazio, Nesta added: "It can try to reach the Champions League, it showed this last year, it changed a little, they're a strong team and competes with everyone in every game, it started like that and because of the calendar it's not easy"
