AC Milan goalkeeper Pepe Reina has urged Iker Casillas to recognise the legacy he has given the game.

Reina has urged the former Real Madrid goalkeeper to be calm and enjoy his life.

The Porto No1 is recovering from a heart attack suffered last week and Reina said: "Iker has made pasta for seven generations.

"He needs to be calm and proud of the legacy he has left."

Reina has spoken with his fellow goalkeeper since the scare and he was relieved to see him in a positive mindset.

"He was relieved and happy. Happy because it was all a shock," Reina added.

"I'm very grateful for the speed of the Porto medical staff.

"They saved his life, he knows that he has to enjoy life."
