AC Milan go for Real Madrid midfielder Isco

AC Milan are moving for Isco after he skipped the first day of Real Madrid preseason training.

After losing midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu to rivals Inter, Milan are searching for a replacement and feel Isco is the right man for the job.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Isco is a serious objective for Milan, after having tried to sign the Spaniard on several previous occasions. But in each of those failed approaches, the economic aspect of the deal was a problem, and thus negotiations never came to fruition. Isco was too expensive for Milan.

Now, that situation has changed. Isco is affordable and Milan are keen to seal the arrival of the Real Madrid man. Real value Isco at around 20 million euros, and taking into account he has just one year left on his contract, that fee could be reduced further.

Real Madrid and Isco have been looking to part ways for some time, and on Monday he wasn't present for the team's return to training
